Marcella "Sunny" Joyce Wilson, 93, of Owensville, Mo., passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born Jan. 28, 1928, to Gust and Sophie (Kela) Myers in Astoria, Ore.

Marcella was united in marriage to Leroy "Willie" Versul Wilson Sept. 16, 1946, in Lewiston, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gust and Sophie; husband Leroy; sisters, Linda Mannila, Irene Abendraft and Minerva Myers in infancy.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Wilson and significant other Charles "Dinger" Ammerman of Owensville and Rodney Wilson and wife Shirley of Owensville; grandchildren, Stephen Leonard and wife Tanya of Fallon, Nev., Heather Peregine and husband Rob of Colorado Springs, Col. and Misty Dawn Davidson of Pensacola, Fla.; and several great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.

Her body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
