He was born in Duluth on March 29, 1943 to Arnold and Verna Hanson.
Kenneth graduated from Central High School in 1961. He served in the Navy on the USS Canberra from 1962-64. He was a steamfitter/plumber for Local #11 and a member since 1968. Kenneth married the love of his life Mari-ann Schlicht on March 30, 1968. He loved fishing, playing his guitar, coaching the kid's hockey and baseball teams and was a lifelong Vikings fan. He especially loved spending time at his daughter's homes sitting on the patio watching the kids playing in the pool.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Mari-ann Hanson; children Annette Schuman (John), Steve Hanson (Julie), Nicki Vittorio (Jeff); grandchildren Bradley, Kyle, Nicholas, Kale and Dylan; brother Arnell "Dick" Hanson (Pam); nephews, his "adopted" families and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
