Mrs. Josephine Seida, 106 Holland Street, died yesterday afternoon at 12:45 in Valley Crest, where she had been a patient the last 17 months.
A native of Wilkes-Barre, Mrs. Seida was a daughter of John and Mary Alles. She lived in White Haven for 16 years prior to moving to Rolling Mill Hill section, where she resided since.
Mrs. Seida was a member of St. Boniface Church. She was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary. She and her husband, Frank, who died May 7, 1962, operated the Alles Dairy in Wilkes-Barre until 1924.
Surviving are sons, John, with whom she resided; Joseph, Carpinteria, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Buffalo, N. Y.; sisters, Mrs. Marie Pringle and Mrs. Clara Burbank, both of Wilkes-Barre; 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 from the funeral home, Park Avenue and South Street, with Requiem Mass at 9:30 in St. Boniface Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call tonight, 7 to 10 and Friday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m. Rosary will be recited Friday night at 8.
