Robert Speck, 76 of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at his home, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was the son of the late Robert J. and Dolly P. (Reed) Speck.
Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy of 54 years; a daughter, Kim; a granddaughter, Nicole (Matt) Meiser; a great-granddaughter, Gracie Meiser; a granddog, Bailey; and two brothers: Gary and Dennis Speck.
He retired from Amtrak, Washington D.C. as a supervisor. Additionally, he had been employed at New Enterprise Stone and Lime and Conrail. In his spare time he was an independent welder.
Bob was a former member of the Horseshoe Curve Chapter of the Railway Historical Society. He enjoyed his family, watching football and fishing.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in memory of Bob can be given to the Horseshoe Curve Chapter NRHS, P.O. Box 1361, Altoona, PA 16603.
