JAMES " ROOSTER" HUDSON
August 14, 1933 ~ July 20, 2021 (age 87)
James was born August 14, 1933, the son of Isham Daniel and Phoebe (Bohannon) Hudson in Eagletown, Oklahoma.
James served in the Army during the Korean War. After his time int he service he married the love of his life, Martha Tims in Oklahoma City, OK on March 12, 1956.
James worked in maintenance for the City in Oklahoma City. He later moved back to this area and was a longtime resident. James was an ordained minister. He read his bible everyday and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed sitting in his yard looking at nature and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-granchildren.
James is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Hudson; son, Darrell Wayne Hudson; three brothers, Dan Hudson, Ed Hudson, J.B. Hudson; two sisters, Pauline Hampton, Velma Hudson.
James is survived by one son, Charles D Hudson and wife, Rejeania of Moore, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jimmie Carol Mernival and husband, Mike of Pine Ridge, SD, Nita Kay Boisver, Sarah Hudson and Raymond Wickson; niece, Lois Hunter; nephew, Glen Hudson and wife, Deborah all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren
