Stanley L. Scott of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away July 23, 2021, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born September 19, 1937, in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Frank and Eunice (Mills) Scott.

Stanley and Kathleen were married for 36 wonderful years; they married in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Stanley was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where he served as the past President and Vice President of the Church Council, a member of the Choir, and Men's Club, and also served as an Usher. Stanley graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1959, then joined the military. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran where he served for five years eventually earning the rank of Lieutenant. Stanley was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing all over the world.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Klemm) Scott of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Lesa (Russell) DeLoach; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Hudeck; stepson, Peter (Sarah) Hudeck; grandchildren, Monica, Jason, Caroline, Daniel, Ethan, Matthew, Lauren; and Close Friend, Chanda Greager.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Scott; and sister, Myrna Hamilton.

Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Church's Food Pantry, and the Human Society of North Central Arkansas.
