Formerly of Walkerton - George William Watson passed away on July 5, 2021, in Lake Wales Florida. George was born on January 15, 1954, in Knox, Indiana to the late Wilgus and Alice Watson. While living most of his life in the Walkerton area, George drove a truck across this great USA of ours for over 30 years before retiring to Florida

George is survived by his sisters; Lavonne Frances, of Florida, Shirley King and Diana Harcourt both of Georgia; many nieces and nephews, especially, "Little George" Graves. He will also be truly missed by his close friends Donna, Lonnie and Russell Jimerson for North Liberty

During his retirement George loved listening to country music and making old vehicles look like new again. He adopted his best friend from the shelter in Florida and spoiled Goober to death, giving him the best life. George loved no bake cookies and eating "ocean" perch whenever he could.
