Carolyn Gelene Morgan, age 88, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Funeral service will be at 3pm Monday, July 26, 2021 at Young's Chapel Methodist Church. Rev. Benjie Mathis will officiate. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. Carolyn was a very loving and faithful wife and devoted mother, MawMaw, and sister. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65years, Billy Morgan, Jr.; son Michael Morgan; parents Flan and Edna Turner; siblings Ervin, Ovella, George, Edgar, Marcia, Flan, and Howell; special nephew Bucky; and special niece, Dorothy. She is survived by her children Tom (Sherry) Morgan, Billy Wayne (Yvonne) Morgan, Mitzi (Danny) Pritchett, and Deborah Morgan; grandchildren Brian (Carolyn) Morgan, Skyler Morgan, Melisa Morgan, Andrew (Ginny) Morgan, Evan (Emily) Morgan, Aaron Morgan, Kyle Pritchett, Carrie (Eric) Taylor, Wesley Cliff, and Courtney (Johnny) Gazoo; 13 great grandchildren; special son in law Ron Cliff; special niece and nephews Lynn, Ron, Fay and Bobby Hooper, Ovella, Ladale, and Susan; as well as many other family members, friends, and former quilting buddies. Pallbearers will be Andrew Morgan, Evan Morgan, Aaron Morgan, Wesley Cliff, Johnny Gazoo, and Brian Morgan. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
