Resident of Slaughter, Born January 28, 1939, in Ely, Nevada and gained her wings Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years W.C. "Dub" Hopkins, Daughters Cindy Rogillio (Ellis), Lori Funderburk, and Amanda Tanner. Grandchildren Kimberly Dawson, Valerie Roberts(Mike), Leslea Wascom, Rachel Hopkins, Tiffany Edwards (Cory), Lauren Young(Chris), Chelsea Jacobchik (Mark), DJ Whittington, Christopher Boyette (Kaytie), and LoganTanner. 18 Great Grandchildren, and sisters Betty, Beverly, Ada, Wanda, Georgie, and Jeannie. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Lona Foster, son inlawMitch Funderburk, brothers Earl, Bobby, and Aubrey Foster, and sister Fern Durand. Pallbearers will be DJ Whittington, Christopher Boyette, Logan Tanner, Cody Brashier, Mark Jacobchik, and Wesley Hopkins. She was a member of Zachary Church of Christ. She loved fishing, playing marbles, going to the boat, hummingbirds, and magnolias. But more than anything she loved her family and big family gatherings. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zachary Church of Christ or Cerebral Palsy Foundation. There will be a visitation on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the Zachary Church of Christ from 10:00 am until funeral services at 1:00 pm, conducted by Jamie McCartney. Burial will be at Feliciana Rest Cemetery.
