Lucy M. Clark, 71, of Story City, IA formerly of Des Moines, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the home of her niece Julie.
Lucy was born June 7, 1951, daughter of Glen and Helen Meyers. She received her education in Marshalltown where she graduated from high school.
Lucy was united in marriage to Robert C. Clark on August 25, 1969 and they had one daughter Carrie who died at the age of 40 in 2012.
Lucy worked as a Marketing Reporting Agent for the United States Department of Agriculture in Des Moines until her retirement.
Lucy enjoyed the company of her two dogs Missy and Jack.
She also enjoyed collecting especially dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Carrie and her husband Robert in 2020.
Lucy is survived by one brother Darrell Meyers and a sister Ruth Brandt both of Marshalltown and her nieces, Julie, Brenda, Cindy, Jody and Jenny and a nephew Steven.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel where friends may call beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Altoona Cemetery.
