A Taylorsville resident, Mr. Gerald Lee "Jerry" Stone, age 48, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1972 in Shelbyville to Barry Lee and Brenda Sue Reed Stone.
Jerry was a technician for the National Guard in Frankfort, was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Waterford Church of Christ. He was a United States Marine Corps and Army Veteran and loved serving his country.
He is survived by his children, Raschelle Stone of Oregon, Cole Stone, Morgan Stone, both of Taylorsville, his parents, Barry and Brenda Stone of Taylorsville, his brother, Jason Reed (Ansley) Stone of Fisherville, and his nephew, Braydon Stone.
Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Lee "Jerry" Stone will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 28, 2021 Bro. Joseph Stone will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday after 8:30 am.
