Ben Bowman served as an Air Corp pilot (Eighth Air Force) seeing action in the European Theater of Operations in World War II. He was in the 487th Bomb Group based in Lavenham, England. In the years after the war he became VP and Secretary of the Board at Scott County Milling Company in Sikeston.
