Samantha Lynn Monroe, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 11, 2020. She was born on June 13, 1995 in Muskegon. She was a ray of sunshine and enjoyed visiting with family and friends as well as playing card and board games with them. Samantha was full of joy and love in her heart and would always take the time to listen. She would help anytime she could and was filled with joy every time she got to do something for someone. She loved to go everywhere with her mom. Samantha enjoyed gaming on her Xbox and met several awesome gamers with her favorite gaming buddy being Travis. She graduated from Oakridge High school in 2014 and then from Muskegon Community College in Graphics Design in 2018. She loved going to the Irish Festival every year here in Muskegon and loved spending time with her cousins even the pain in the butt ones. She enjoyed penguins and other animals especially her special dog, Maize. She is survived by her mother, Teresa Monroe; Grandfather, LeRoy (Margaret) Kreigh; Auntie Martha (Chris) Stratton; Aunt Nancy (Ryan) Craig; Uncle LeRoy (Amy) Kreigh II; Cousins Jennifer Kreigh (Joseph Clapp), niece Jemma Lou Clapp; Cousins Avery S. Kameron K. Samantha S. Sydney K. Logen K. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Betty (Nill) Kreigh. A memorial service for Samnatha will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 Am at The Lee Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 with visitation taking place an hour prior to the service. The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers at this hard time.
