Dick was born in Ironton, OH on April 30, 1940 to the late Elmer and Rebecca (Pruitt) Davis.
He married Velma (Holbrook) Davis on February 23, 2018 and she survives.
Dick is also survived by his children: Patrick Davis, Columbus, OH; Jeffrey (Joanna) Davis, Columbus, OH; Tracy (Debbie) Davis Jr., Urbana, OH; William (Samantha) Davis, Columbus, OH; Terry (Marie) Davis, Medway, OH; Loretta (Monk) Gregory, Columbus, OH; Teresa (Rich) Perdue, Columbus, OH; Debbie Davis, Chillicothe, OH; and Mary Jo Adkins, Piqua, OH; one sister: Clara Waddell, South Point, OH; son-in-law: Carl White, Sandy Hook, KY; his beloved puggle, Marly; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Stella Davis in 2017; two daughters: Roseanna Lynn Highley and Diane Reynolds; one son: Richard Davis; three brothers; and four sisters.
Dick loved hunting, fishing, and going to flea markets. He enjoyed all types of games, especially cornhole and horseshoe. Dick was a tree trimmer for Green Tree Services for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2021 with Pastor Steven Ward officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua
