She was born March 24, 1923 in Bloomer, OH to the late August J. and Ellen Elaine (Monnin) Pour.
She married Milford "Mitz" L. Brinkman January 19, 1946 and he proceeded her in death in 1979.
She is survived by one son: Richard "Dick" L. (Becky) Brinkman, Troy, OH; one daughter Bonnie (Greg) Dowell, Troy, OH; four grandchildren: Thomas (Michelle) Mumford, FL, Lori (Randy) Ingle, TN, Bob Brinkman, TN, and Randy Brinkman, OH. She had one great grandson: Dustin Mumford and one great-great grandson, Silas Mumford, FL. She came from a very large family and had many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mary graduated from Troy High School in 1941. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Piqua. She was employed at Hobart Brothers in Troy and also at Concord Elementary School in the cafeteria. She then worked in sales at Uhlman's, Troy and retired from Elder Beerman in Piqua.
She grew up on the farm and lived many happy years in the country. She loved to garden and plant flowers as well as play cards, put puzzles together and sew, crochet and macramé. She loved walnuts and loved to crack them, clean them and give them to others. Mary loved a good cup of coffee and she loved to travel. Hawaii and Italy were her favorite destinations. She also took many bus trips to various locations.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Piqua, with Rev. Fr. Daniel P. Hunt as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington
