She graduated from Lee Academy High School, where she met her future husband who was attending Lee College, in Cleveland, TM. They were married in 1964 and began a life of full-time ministry, pastoring Church of God congregations in Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina and Texas. They also partnered together in evangelism where she graced the stage with her singing and piano playing. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Gaddy and Evelyn Gaddy of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Mickey Gaddy and Virgil Gaddy; and sister, Janet Gaddy - all of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Robert L Bailey Sr. She is survived by her children, Dr. Kerissa M Bailey, DVM, Rev. Robert L Bailey, Jr. and his wife, Christal; four grandchildren, Victoria C Bailey, Rev. Robert S Bailey and his wife, Hannah, Alexandria E Bailey, Jonathan-James T Bailey; four great-grandchildren, Elisha J Lewis, Eden R Lewis, Robert S Bailey, and Elona G Bailey; and brother, Jim "Buddy" Gaddy and his wife, Claudette.
