Obituary
To know Betty Jean Morrison was to love her. Betty was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and one of the most loyal friends one could have. From the moment Betty entered this world on July 11, 1962 she was the life of the party. Betty was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She dedicated her life to showing up and showing love for others. Her love for people and her ability to make friends wherever she went, made her one of kind.

Betty possessed the ability to connect with everyone that crossed her path. Her multifaced abilities formed the beautiful go getter and lady of many talents that we grew to love. You couldn't see Betty without stopping to talk. Everybody knows she loved to talk. One of her favorite sayings was, "Who did your hair?" Some people never tap into their gifts, but Betty utilized all her gifts to give back to others. She transformed the lives of so many by sharing her ability to create beautiful creative hair styles, and creating gorgeous fruit arrangements. Betty was an amazing hair dresser. All she had to do was a look at a style and she could replicate it.

At an early age Betty became a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Betty attended Blenheim High School where she played in various sports. After graduating Betty worked in many industrial plants before attending Chris Logan Cosmetology and graduating with her cosmetology license. Betty worked alongside her mom in Lillie's Hair Designs creating stunning styles.

Betty departed her life on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Gone in the physical, but never in the spirit, Betty is survived in legacy by her husband Alfonza Morrison. Her mother, Lillie Mae Clemons. Daughters: Andrea Wallace (Angel M.) and Crystal Morrison. Sons: Jermaine Morrison (Jasmine) and Michael Morrison (Tasha). Nine Grandchildren. Eleven siblings: Ernest Pearson, Rodney Pearson, Erica Clemons, Rochelle Rose (James), Wanda Clark (Jack), Luther Page (Phyllis (deceased), John Allen Leach, Jermaine Brown, George Boatwright (Tina), Lisa Boatwright (deceased).

Betty is reunited with her daughter: Nadedrianne Latrell Pearson and Father: Harold Blue.

Betty leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: Aunts and Uncles: Hattie Adams (Willie), Rosita Townsend (Tony), Betty Jackson (Stanley), Donald Pearson (Vera (deceased), Herbert Pearson (Cathy), Mary Lee Pearson (deceased), Robert Pearson (Ida), Rosa Lee Pearson and Franklin Pearson (Betty). Sister and Brother In-laws: Roy Morrison (Esther), Annie M Clayton (Ellis), Bobbie Morrison (Pat), Tommie Morrison (Pat), Linwood Morrison (Jackie), Clorina Morrison (Darryl), Lon Morrison (Cathy), Lyndon Morrison (Venecia).God Children: Dontrell Briggs, Jonetta Alford, Kiera Cromatie, Jeremy Townsend, Tremeckia Sinkler and Andrea Bostic. Special Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins: Stephenn Morrison, Ka'Niaya Douglas, Kierra Rice, Michael Limbacher, Shentwila Rose, Shakia Rose, Leroy Pearson, Lucille Jones, and a host of others.

It would be wrong to say that Betty lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Betty stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Betty. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. Beautiful people do not just happen. Betty was a beautiful person who will be missed and loved dearly. When you think of Betty remember to love and live life to the fullest just as she would.
