REID, DONALD F. of Holly; July 18, 2021; age 92; Beloved husband of the late Jane "Bettie" Reid; Dear father of Donald "Jerry" Reid, Ronald (late Sue) Beardsley, Marilyn (Marty) Secatch, the late Charles Reid and the late Melvin Beardsley (Connie); Brother of Donna Jean (late Les) Shadwell; Also cherished by 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; Mr. Reid was retired from General Motors Fisher Body Division and served as a U.A.W. representative. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Heart of the Lakes V.F.W. Post #1008. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association.
