He was born on April 17, 1945 in Morgan Co., KY to the late Hallick and Polly Cantrell.
Chester is survived by his two daughters and son: Kelly (Mike) Monnin of Piqua; Alice (Colin) Wear of Wasilla, AK; Zach (Katie) Cantrell of Vandalia; seven grandchildren: Cory and Emma Monnin; Chloe', Sage and Wyland Wear; Amelia and Aurora Cantrell. He is also survived by his siblings and extended family.
Chester loved the outdoors, camping, sitting by the campfire, gardening, horseback riding and dirt biking. He was a gun and coin collector and enjoyed listening to bluegrass and country music, watching westerns, flipping houses and he loved the ladies.
Chester worked for Dinner Bell Meats and retired from Manfredi Transit Co.
The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Monday, July, 26, 2021
The graveside service will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Vandalia.
