Chuck was born on November 15, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas. Chuck grew up in the Fort Worth area where he completed his education at Tremble Tech High School in 1956.
Chuck was a wonderful Christian husband, father, uncle and Poppa to whom he was known by all his grandkids. Most of his career was spent at Texas Electric where he began working in 1964 as a field representative until retiring in 1992. Not being able to sit still for too awfully long once retired he began his own business called "Mr. Fix It", which included small home repairs and painting. He later went to work at O'Reilly Auto Parts where he currently worked as a delivery driver and was awarded 5 years of service in July. He enjoyed numerous hobbies and activities over the years which included boating, fishing, hunting and golf. He would be the first to admit that he was never particularly good at golf but enjoyed the exercise from walking 18 holes as often as he could. One of the hobbies he was most passionate about was working with stained glass where he created and sold a lot of home ornaments and windows.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Manning; mother, Icie Manning; brother, Stafford Manning; sister, Ruth Mason; wives, Virginia Manning and Linda Manning.
Survivors: son, Chris Manning and wife, Dodie from Joshua TX.; son, Doug Coffman and wife, Cathy from Fort Worth. He was blessed with eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
