Nina Rose Johnson, 63, of Fairmont, NC, passed away on July 21, 2021.
She was born on August 31, 1957 in Lumberton, NC.
Rose was an active member of Baltimore Baptist Church of Fairmont, NC and participated in many activities and committees when she was able. She loved her Lord and loved her church. Rose enjoyed decorating, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Rose served many years as the Administrative Assistant for Southeastern Regional Mental Health Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services and retired from Eastpointe Human Services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Johnson; her parents, Billy Ray Johnson and Ida Brown Bullock-Johnson; and her sister, Mary Evelyn Johnson.
Rose is survived by her sons, Jason L. Johnson (Whitney) and Zachary E. Johnson (Amy), all of Fairmont, NC; a brother, Billy Ray Johnson, Jr.; and her three grandchildren: Jaylyn W. Johnson, Eideen W. Johnson, and Lynwood J. Johnson.
The funeral services will be held in Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC in the chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date.
