Richard Mathias Brand, 77, died of a heart ailment, Wednesday at home.
Born January 10, 1888, Oakwood, Ohio, to Peter Arle and Cathern Louisa Meyers Brand. Married Myrtle Worwood Scott, November 30, 1936, Farmington.
Switchman, D & RG Railroad. Retired.
Survivors: widow; stepsons, stepdaughters: Mrs. Winifred Pulley, American Fork; Mrs. Fern Meads, Menlo Park, California; Mrs. Virginia Norton, Huntington Beach, California; John W. Scott, Eugene Scott, both Salt Lake City; 19 step-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. John (Ruth) Sulkowski, Hudson, Michigan.
Funeral Saturday, 11 a.m., 2128 s. State. Burial, Memorial Gardens of the Valley.
