Mike grew up in the Lincoln area and lived his adult life in the greater Fredericton area. He was a proud 15 year member of the Fredericton AA organization. Mike loved to go camping, fishing, hunting and his passion was photography of wildlife in their natural habitat. He worked for the Department of National Defence in different civil capacities. Mike was a volunteer at the soup kitchen in the Fredericton area and he loved to help those in need.
He was a friend to everyone who met him and knew him. Mike was a kind and loving soul with the biggest of hearts.
Michael "Mike" is survived by his brothers, George Sherwood of St. Andrews, NB and Mark Sherwood of Fredericton, NB; sister, Constance "Connie" (Sherwood) (Bucko) Dawson of Masstown, NS.
Uncle Mike is also survived by five nephews and two nieces who loved his stories and his wonderful sense of humour. Mike had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who thought the world of him.
