Michael Anthony Ciaccio, Jr., 38 of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 5:25 PM at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born in Buford, South Carolina on June 17, 1980 to Michael Anthony Ciaccio, Sr. and Kathy Johnson Ciaccio.
Michael is survived by his son, Joel Michael Ciaccio, and mother Kathy Ciaccio (Ronald Martin), and father Michael Ciaccio, Sr. (Janet). Also surviving is his girlfriend, Angel Cooper, 5 brothers; Matt Ciaccio (Stacy), Christopher Ciaccio, Jeff Ciaccio (Felicia), Nicholas Ciaccio, and Nathan Ciaccio, a sister, Mylene Sutton, as well as his grandfather, Vitto Ciaccio (Tracy), Michael also leaves behind aunts and uncles; Di Gualandi (Larry), Anita Johnson, Tony Johnson (Kelly), and Christopher Johnson (Tammy), and Linn Michaels, who was a 2nd Mom to him, as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his step-mother, Dori Ciaccio, paternal grandmother, Betty Ciaccio, maternal grandparents Virginia and Joel Johnson, and one uncle, Michael Thomas Johnson.
Earlier in his life, Michael loved to skate, play pool, and was an athlete, but later as his health declined, he loved to play poker and bingo.
Funeral services will be held at West Side Christian Church, 126 North 8th St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial is in New Providence Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the church.
