Logan, Leslie Raymond 89, Truro, passed away Saturday March 27, 2010 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Samuel and Estella (Hollingsworth) Logan. Ray was a World War II Veteran serving overseas in England with the infantry. He was employed for many years with CN Rail. He enjoyed photography and developed many of his own pictures. Ray and his wife Gloria enjoyed music and together they played at many of the local area dances. He was a member of the McCulloch United Church where Ray served as an elder and treasurer for a number of years. Ray was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26, Truro. He is survived by sisters, Vivian McNutt, Harmony Road, Audrey Martin, Dundas, ON; sister-in-law, Lottie Logan; brother-in-law, Webster Deuville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Gloria Sanford; sisters, Elva Bryson, Hilden, Dorothy Putnam, Brookfield, Glenda Mitchell, Vena Mitchell, both of Truro, Marjorie Deuville, Harmony Road, Lulu McLeod, Hilden, Sylvia McNutt, Camden; brothers, Otto, Dartmouth, Trueman, Italy (during World War II), Harry, (in childhood). At Raymond's request there will be no visitation or memorial service. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Camden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the McCulloch United Church or the VON. Arrangements are under the direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
