Robert Christ Erickson was born May 26, 1936 near Coteau, Burke County, North Dakota. He was the fourth of seven children born to Christ Walter and Helen Christina (Thies) Erickson.
In 1954 he graduated from the Kenmare High School in Kenmare, North Dakota. He was married on November 1, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Williston, North Dakota to Marlys Elaine Gibbins. They were blessed with the birth of Mark, Marla and Rhonda. Marlys preceded him in death on January 2, 2010. Robert died on July 3, 2021. They were buried in Tempe, Arizona.
A celebration of his life was held at the Faith Baptist Church in Kenmare, ND.
