Jose Angel Rios, Jr. was born June 25, 1952 in Bavamon, Puerto Rico, the son of Jose Angel Rios, Sr. and Dnelia Figueroa Rios. He entered into rest, surrounded by his beloved family in Columbia, Missouri on July 20, 2021 at the age of 69. Jose moved to the area in 1993 from California and had worked as a supervisor and in recruitment at Marco in Neosho. He enjoyed building model airplanes, currently working on a Star Trek model, doing remodeling and carpentry work, singing, drawing and especially having fun with his family, he was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Living Springs Fellowship Church in Neosho. Jose and Magdalena (Andujar) were married in 1972 in Puerto Rico and she survives of the home. In addition to Magdalena, he is survived by three children, Stacey (Charles) Thacker of Noel, Jason (Sharon) Rios of Webb City and Enelia (Paul) Dick of Goodman; his father, Jose Angel Rios, Sr.; six brothers, Johnny Rios, Steven Rios, Carlos Rivera, Carmelo Rios, Davis Rios and Dennis Rios; two sisters, Jacqueline Carrasco and Norma Camacho; nine grandchildren with one on the way and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Ralphie Rios and a sister, Nellie Moreno.
