JOAN ADAMS KOSTERS OBITUARY

Joan G. Adams Kosters of Wyoming, Michigan (formerly of Rockford, MI), age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2020. She was born to Kenneth and Mary (Cowles) Colby on August 18, 1938 in Rockford, MI. Joan especially cherished time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time on the beach, road trips in the mustang convertible, visiting Michigan lighthouses, shopping for antiques, going to flea markets, and being around the pool with loved ones. Joan is survived by her beloved children, Vicki Paquette, Monty (Ami) Adams, Kim Wierenga, Karen (Bill) Van Til; cherished grandchildren, Jason Martin, Amber (Brandon) VanDrunen, Melissa (Matt) Gibson, Stephanie (Joel) Lehman, and Erika (Mark) Madvid; nine great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Gay) Colby; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by both parents; her beloved husband, Arlo L. Adams; and sister, Kathryn Brown. The family would like to thank the staff at Vista Springs Wyoming and Faith Hospice for their care and compassion towards Joan. There will be a time of visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. A PRIVATE service with Live Streaming will be celebrated with immediate family at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Pederson Funeral Home. A PUBLIC committal will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Rockford Cemetery.
