OBITUARY:
Jennings Brodie, 57, Dies Suddenly At Home Of Sister
Jennings Brodie, 57, well-known resident of Sullivan Rural Route 5, died suddenly at 12:30 a.m. today at the home of a sister, Miss Bluebell Brodie, Sullivan Rural Route 5.
The body was taken to Alexander Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. R.E. Pavy officiating. Burial will be in Purcell Cemetery.
Mr. Brodie is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fred Fisher, Jr., Patty Brodie, JoAnn Brodie, and Janice Sue Brodie, all of Sullivan; two sons, Charles and Kenneth Brodie, both of Sullivan; two sisters, Miss Brodie and Mrs. Jake Pirtle, of Sullivan; a brother, Carl Brodie of Sullivan; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
