She worked for Berkshire Bank, formerly Berkshire County Savings Bank, as a Proof and Control Clerk for 20 years. She enjoyed travel, horse racing, word searches, and trips to the casino. She especially loved vacationing in York Beach, Maine and visiting Nubble Lighthouse.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Edwin "Eddie" A. Stevens, Jr. who passed away on May 17, 2016. They would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on July 12th. She was also predeceased by her parents, her brother, Leighton "Ed" Leno Jr. and sister-in-law Nancy Hunt Leno and her in-laws, Edwin Stevens Sr. and Gwendolyn Sykes Stevens.
She is survived by three daughters: Michele M. Stevens, Candace Baker, and TamiSue Stevens-Goerlach and her son in law, Gregg Goerlach of Pittsfield. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Lance Madewell, Allen Baker Jr (of Greenfield,MA.),Brittany Madewell, and Billy Madewell IV and his wife Jennifer. She also leaves her brother and sister in law Bob and Ann Stevens, her great-grandsons Erik and Brock Madewell, her nephews Michael and Timothy Leno,her caregiver, April White, and her friends at Devonshire.
Funeral Notice:
Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Stevens will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East St., Pittsfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 am to 1pm. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in her memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
