William Edward "Ed" Clark, age 79, of Elwood passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Marion General Hospital following multiple health issues. Ed was born in Tipton on September 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Arthur Clark and Dorothy (Alley) Clark.

Ed proudly served our country in the United States Army. On August 14, 1961, he married Becky (Merida) Clark and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2010. for many years, Ed was a self-employed truck driver. Ed was an avid race fan and more than anything, loved to be with his sons and grandchildren.

Ed is survived by his two sons, Perry (Gwen) Clark, and Mark (Tammy) Clark; four grandchildren, Jason (Corey) Clark, Travis (Addie) Clark, Courtney (Connor) Campbell, and Brayden Clark; three great-grandchildren, Jace Clark, Molly Clark, and Lane Clark; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, Ed was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Clark and three brothers, Bob, Tom, and Gary Clark.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street Elwood, and from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the funeral home. A funeral service to honor Ed's life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Kim Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall.
