Nathan was born December 6, 1961 in Falls of the rough, Kentucky, the son of Joseph Earl and Daisy Lee Dunn Blanford.
Nathan worked for years as a certified mechanic in the Columbus area. He loved to sketch and draw in his spare time. Nathan enjoyed collecting guns, antiques and various Knick knacks. Being the friendly man that he was, Nathan never knew a stranger. To his friends and family, Nathan was lovingly known as Unk or Pops. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Carr officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be performed by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Calling will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
