Shelia Scott, 61 of New Haven, CT. was called home on Mon. Sept. 7, 2015. She was born Jan. 31, 1954 in Savannah, GA to the late Emmitt Scott, Sr. and Sarah Scott. After graduation from Alfred E. Beach High School in 1972 she relocated to New Haven, CT. She began work as a paraprofessional at Clinton Ave. School in New Haven in 1990 where she worked until her passing. She found great joy in working with the staff and students there. They were her second family. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Kisha Woodson (Bernard) of Glenburnie, MD, Jocelyn and Jasmine Salters both of New Haven; two sons Jamaar (Canetta) and Jermaine Scott; a sister Carrie (David) Kelly of West Haven, CT; three brothers Emmitt, Rufus and Eric Scott all of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren Janiyia Scott and Bernard Woodson IV along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved her deeply.
