Debra Ann Altieri Howell, age 59, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Robert B. Howell, Jr., passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on April 1, 1954, she was the oldest daughter of Earl and Alice (Cryoskie) Altieri of Trumbull. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Bridgeport, and obtained degrees from Housatonic Community College and Sacred Heart University. She was employed as a phlebotomist at Milford Hospital, creating lasting friendships that she cherished. Her favorite pastimes included reading, listening to Frank Sinatra, watching I Love Lucy, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughter, Christina Howell and her fiancé Douglas Quaranta of Stamford, two stepdaughters, Dr. Carolyn Pass and her husband Richard, and Cheryl Howell-Williams, all of Florida, sisters Beverly Jacovino and her husband Philip of Trumbull, Christine Altieri of Micco, Florida, Lorraine Altieri of Trumbull, and brother Frank Altieri of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to Debra's coworkers, who generously donated sick and personal time in her time of need. Friends and family are invited to meet directly in St. Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway in Milford on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
