Bill Ratliff was born to Aaron and Mattie (Moore) Ratliff on July 5, 1929 on the Ratliff homeplace in Noble, Ok. He departed this life on July 19, 2021 on that same homeplace at the age of (92) years.

Bill was a lifetime Noble resident. He graduated from Noble High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. Bill served in the Navy and Army. He was employed with Wilson Foods as an accountant for (35) years before his retirement. Bill married Ruth Frances Clark in (1968) and they made their home in Noble. Ruth preceded Bill in death on August 6, 2005 at their home.

Bill loved politics. He served on the Noble City Council and helped write the City Charter. Bill volunteered countless hours at the Southern Cleveland County Museum with his first grade classmate Garl Owens also Gary Mitchison and Ray Philpot. He and Ruth volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels and many other organizations.

Bill was preceded in death by his Parents, wife Ruth and his (3) Brothers; Aaron, Richard and Dick.

Bill did not have surviving relatives but had a chosen family; Bob, Debra and Tanner Dodd, Daniel and Melissa Luksa, Dustin, Hollie, Brinley and Austin Cox, Courtney, John and JJ Alinger. He loved attending Courtney's Chorus Musicals and playing with Brinley. Brinley would always help him into his house and they both enjoyed eating lunch together.
