James (Jim) Lee Nance, 69, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was born on June 12, 1952, in Holdenville, OK to Billie Joe Nance and Esther Richardson.

Jim was a 1970 graduate of Putnam City West High School (First graduating class) and went on to attend Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID on a scholarship for a short time. Upon returning to Oklahoma City, he went in to the HV/AC business working for Ferguson Enterprises where he started the commercial division at the OKC Ferguson branch. He then went to work for the Carrier Corp. / Carrier Enterprises where he worked in Commercial Sales as Territory Manager and Sales Engineer for 18 years. His final job was for Jackson Mechanical where he worked in Contract Sales until he finally retired in 2019.

Jim was an avid collector of old cars including Jaguars, Porsche, and many more. He would take them out for a spin on weekends top down, wind blowing in his hair, usually a dog in his lap. He also loved spending time at our lake house at Lake Tenkiller, sailing his sailboat at Lake Hefner and taking motorcycle rides with his brother David when he could. He was a long-time member of the Jaguar and Porsche club.

Jim is survived by his wife Beverly Shirley Nance, daughter Natalie, son Jacob, grandchildren Erricka, Raelisa, Natalya, King, Olivia, Roxi, Christian and great-granddaughter Gabrielle. He is also survived by his brothers, David Nance and companion Leigh Kuykendall, Ed Nance and wife Annette, Sister Carol Manos, Sister-in-law and husband Mary and Henry Lanoy. Preceded in death by his father Billie Joe Nance, mother Esther Richardson, sister Janette Cramer and step-daughter Desire' Michelle Shirley. Jim is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephew and life- long friends.

A memorial service for Jim will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162.
