He was born August 7, 1947 in Jonesboro to the late Jesse and Mary Gambill Goodman. Mr. Goodman served his country proudly in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a retired purchasing agent for Arkansas Industrial Electric. He was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding horses and in his final days he was an aspiring goat farmer. He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Sharon Darlene Goodman and a brother, Larry Goodman.
He is survived by his children, Connie Summers (Michael) of Jonesboro, Joy Goodman (Shadow) of Paragould, Teresa Kay Goodman and Christopher Roy Goodman both of the home; grandchildren- Caitlin Lester (Daniel) and Peyton Summers and a sister-in-law, Trudy Goodman of Paragould and several nieces and nephews.
