Barbara Ann Jenkins Jacobs, 73, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday morning, July 21, 2021 at her residence. Barbara was born August 24, 1947 in Celina, Tn., to the late Charlie and Elma Hatcher Jenkins. Barb retired from the Martin Post Office in Martin Kentucky where she met many people over the years. She ministered to everyone that she came in contact spreading the good news, "The Word of God" and praying that all would accept Him as their savior. She also ministered in the Jail Ministry for 24 years bringing many to repentance sharing the gospel. She was also a Sunday School teacher for 27 years, a member of the Church of God Affiliation since 1977 and was a faithful member at Wurtland Church of God. Barb was a delight to be around always smiling and showing the Light of Jesus in her life. Surviving Barb, is one daughter, Melissa Renee Keathley and her husband Pastor Chester Keathley, one brother, Tony Jenkins and his wife Brenda of Red Boiling Springs, Tn., two grandchildren, Aaron Keathley and Chelsea Hunley and her husband Cody, and one great grandson, Cashton Hunley. Funeral Services for Barb will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Wurtland Church of God with Pastor Chester Keathley officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to service time at 6:00 PM Sunday at the church. Burial will follow service on Monday, July 25, in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, Tn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wurtland Church of God 3361 Ky 503, Wurtland, KY. 41144. Services are under the direction of Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup.
