Hilda T. Junkin died at the age of 87. Hilda was born in Hermanville, MS, the daughter of Walter Ray Thedford and Minnie Lee Chancellor Thedford. She was a Baptist minister's daughter and morphed into a dairy farmer, then LPN for a number of years and on to RN. Throughout most of her career she was a mother. She raised three children that she was greatly proud of, as well as nieces and nephews that she treated as her own. She had a very strong faith, a very giving nature and a servant's heart. She liked to help people in need. During her lifetime she gave away a medium sized fortune and considered herself fortunate to be able to do it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmie L. Galbreath, Sr. and second husband David Junkin and her brothers Walter E. Thedford and Samuel C. Thedford.
