Julia Susan Morrison Reed of Blairs, Virginia, passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 78. She was born on March 15, 1943, to the late Josephine Lillie Mae McBride Morrison and the late Norman David Wells Morrison in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Julia is survived by her son Allen Reed (Torie Lynn) of Providence, North Carolina; her daughters Elizabeth Reed of Gretna, Virginia, Billie Jo Allen ("Peanut" Carson) of Blairs, Virginia, and Kamela "K" S. Mitchell of Halifax County, Virginia; her grandchildren Shanon Burke, Katrina Lynn Allen, Carley R. Allen, Darren Paris, Ryan Paris, Lillie Mae Paris; and her great-grandchildren Alyssa and Everleigh, and her fiancé of 21 years Giles Andrew Knick of Blairs, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Henry James Paul Morrison.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Norris Funeral Services Mt Hermon Chapel with Pastor Teresa Hawker officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family will also be receiving guests at the residence of the daughter.
