Ms Lisa Stuedeman Hughes, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The family will receive friends at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home Friday, July 23, 2021 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM in the Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00AM and Graveside Services will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Bromley (Scott); brother, John Stuedeman (Ann); grandchildren, Jeremiah Hughes, Madelyn Bromley, Micah Bromley, Graham Bromley; niece, Sarah Gilchrist (Tim); and nephew; Josh Stuedeman (Anna) (children, Garrett & Jack).

Lisa is preceded in death by her daughter, Whitley Hughes; parents; Anthony Gustave Jr. and Sue Reavis Stuedeman; brother, Bill Stuedeman; and grandparents; Anthony Gustave Sr. and Meta Stuedeman, John Paul and Bernice Reavis.

She grew up in Trussville, AL. She resided in Springville/Ashville area. Lisa is known as "Grammy" to her grandkids. She spent much of her time with grandkids watching their ball games, movies, playing outdoors, and enjoying bonfires. Lisa had a green thumb. She enjoyed growing vegetable and flower gardens. Lisa enjoyed cheering for Alabama football "Roll Tide"! She had a compassion for animals and had several furry companions. Lisa attended church at Faith Community Fellowship. She retired from Amerex after 35 years where she built lots of close relationships. Lisa was peacemaker, kind, loving, caring, hardworking, dedicated, great listener, and very loyal to her family and friends.
