The funeral of Benjamin L. Hartman SR., 66 of 1140 William Street, retired Chambersburg produce dealer who died yesterday, will be conducted Thursday afternoon from the Thatcher Building 986-88 South Broad Street. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Herbert H. Neale, of Broad Street M.E. Church and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Mr. Hartman was a meber of Column Lodge No.120, F. & A. M.: Trenton Consistory, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons; Century Council, No. 100, Jr. O.U.A.M., & Capital City Council, No.20, Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
Mr. Hartman leaves four daughters, Mrs. Raymond M. Bloom, of Belmont, Mass.; Mrs. Arch Wark, of New Brunswick; Mrs. John Hardisty , of William Street, and Mrs. William Grovvatt of Mount Holly; five sons Benjamin L.Jr., Wallace R., Ira L. and Robert B. Hartman of Broad Street Park, and Russell M. of White Horse; four brothers, William R., John F., and Lloyd W. of Trenton and Clarence J., of Groveville; fours sisters. Mrs. Frank J. Leiwerling, of Trenton; Mrs. Harry M. Murphy, Mrs. Benjamin J. Blinn and Mrs. Bessie Girth of White Horse and 18 grandchildren.
