Diane was born November 6, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, where she grew up. Diane was the middle of five children. After graduating from high school, she traveled to Nebraska where she met Milan Anderson and got married December 22, 1969, and they divorced in 1988.
She worked at Tenneco Automotive, AKA Monroes, in Cozad and also worked as a caregiver at long term facilities and did private care for the homebound. Furthermore, she became a mother to two daughters, Deanna and Rebecca, and had many adventures along the way.
Diane was a free spirit who was strong and compassionate, who did not give in easily. She enjoyed plants inside and out. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafts. Likewise, she loved crocheting, embroidery, writing, poetry, and helping with projects. Also, she loved to read and do puzzles.
She has always had that determined personality; once she got something in her mind. Diane was a caring lady who advocated and used her voice to stand up for those in need. She was always taking care of someone, even to her last day. She taught her girls many things throughout life and made sure we listened. Diane was an amazing woman who was ornery spit-fire who kept you on your toes. She was loved and admired far more than she knew.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Orma (Alwood) Kripa; Siblings, Daniel Kripa Jr., Helen (Kripa) Mahon and Barb (Kripa) Dennis.
She is survived by her brother, Steven Kripa; her two children, Deanna (Anderson) Starr (Frederick Starr) and Rebecca (Anderson) Meyers (Brett Meyers); grandchildren, Christopher Schriver (Jennifer Schriver) Seth Schriver, Kaden Starr, Alec Dishman, Brett Dishman; great-grandchildren, Phineas Schriver and Gideon Schriver; as well as other family and friends who loved and admired her.
