Barbara Ann (Roads) Price, 82, Orbisonia, formerly of Shirleysburg, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Embassy at Woodland Park.
Born May 27, 1939, Napa, California, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Bessie E. (Hobbs) Roads. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer G. Price.
She is survived by her children, Grant Price, Mount Union; Joseph Price and wife, Dana, Mississippi; Mark Price and wife, Beth, Shirleysburg; Melody Price, Mount Union; Matthew Price and wife, Kimberly, Shirleysburg; Ernest Price and wife, Paula, McVeytown; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren with two on the way.
She is also survived by a sister, Bernice Cinquini, Ukiah, California.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Fred, George, Henry, Ellen, June and Lola.
Mrs. Price was of Christian faith.
She was a member of the Mount Union VFW as well as the Mount Union Sons of Italy.
Mrs. Price worked at U.S. Sports in Huntingdon and Empire Kosher in Mifflintown.
She enjoyed reading and watching her children and grandchildren and their different sporting activities. Mrs. Price had lived at 16594 Wrangletown Road for 50 years. She was most happy when spending time with her family and friends.
Friends and family will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday July 22, at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, until the time of service at noon, with the Rev. Bill Benson officiating. Interment will follow in the Orbisonia Cemetery.
