LYNCH, Dr. Louis L. Sr., 75, of Tampa, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones Thursday, April 28, 2016. Dr. Lynch was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Sally Lynch and Leo Charles Lynch; a daughter, Gretchen; and a son, Dale. He will be greatly missed by Ann (Marie Noto) his loving wife of 55 years; sons, Louis Jr. and wife Terry of Oldsmar, John and wife Jamie of Wake Forest, NC; daughter, Gwen Connery and John of Tampa; five grandsons, Dane, Dean, Harrison, Jake, Will; two granddaughters, Cameron, Ava; a great-grandson, Austin and one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Dr. Rance Lynch, Ruth Herrin both of Gulfport, MS, and Susan Bullard Gulfport, FL; and mother-in-law Mary Noto, Bay St. Louis. His family extends its heartfelt thanks to the staff of Horizon Bay and the Garnet Team at Hospice for their compassionate care. A long-time resident of Dana Shores in Tampa, Dr. Lynch established a respected osteopathic practice in North Tampa with long-time partners Drs. James Barker and Jon Hebblewhite.

Dr. Lynch was born in Springfield, OH and raised in Pass Christian, MS. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Osteopathic degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. After his internship in Dallas, Dr. Lynch and his wife Ann settled in Tampa. Dr. Lynch loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially on the water. He had a passion for flying and earned his pilot's license. An avid bicyclist, he enjoyed 20-mile rides along the Courtney Campbell bike trail. He was a loving and connected husband, father, grandfather, big brother, and uncle.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held May 18 at 1 pm at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church (LMUMC), 2902 W. Fletcher Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LMUMC Missions & Ministries (church contact is Hilary Rain, 813.961.1254 ext 216). Words of comfort may be expressed at floridamortuary.com
