Mary Ann Garza born April 5, 1975 in San Antonio, Texas to parent David Lucio, went to be with our Lord July 13, 2021 at the age of 46. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Lucio. She is survived by her spouse, Terry Guzman; parent, David Lucio; son, Edward Ballez; daughters, Anna-Celeste Cantu, Brianna; grandmother, Mary Cantu; grandchildren, Johnny Ballez, Vincente Delgado, Andres Jay Madrigal, Aliana Jazlyn Madrigal, Aliza Madrigal, Ava Cantu, Jonathan Anthony Falkenberg, Evalyn Bauer, Evan Mireles, Yaharia Mireles, Anya, Mia Rodriguez, Malachi Rodriguez, Maureen Rodriguez, Malia Rodriguez, Molly Rodriguez; sisters, Barbara Mora, Janie Lucio, Debra Reyes; brothers, David Garza, Gilbert Garza; nieces, Jennavieve, Rianna,, Kristaline, Kaitlyn, Arianna, Mariah, Jayanna, Marissa, Jaylyssa, Willow, Lilith, Britney, Samarie; nephews, Joe Gilbert, Ricardo, Bobby and Marcos. Mary was a beautiful lady. She loved all her grandkids dearly. She loved working at her job and was a motivator. She got things done no matter if the task was big or small. Mary worked hard at everything she ever did in her life. Mary loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends, but she is home now with God and her mother and father.
Funeral services are as follows:
Monday - July 19, 2021: Visitation 4-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 7pm by San Alphonsus Catholic Church Staff.
Tuesday - July 20, 2021: Visitation 8-9am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, departing at 9:30am to San Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St., San Antonio, Texas 78207 for a 10am Mass. Graveside services will be at San Fernando Cemetery II following the 10am Mass.
***FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE ESCORTED BY POLICE IN VEHICLE PROCESSION***
