She was a Baptist by faith. Margie moved to the area in 1984, she retired from the mail room at Gateway Press and started her own cleaning business. Margie collected porcelain dolls as well as strawberry themed decor. She enjoyed spending time in the garden admiring the beautiful flowers. Her dogs Buffy & Jordache were her loyal companions.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Dermody; parents R C and Marguarette Welsh.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Wilson of Charlestown IN, stepdaughter Shanita Lee Bailey of Louisville; her sister Barbara May Aynes of Shepherdsville; along with many other family members and friends.
The family has chosen cremation, Maraman Billings Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
