Dec 12, 1956 - Jul 15, 2021
Patricia "Pat" Salinas was born on December 12, 1956 to Louis and Anna Butler in Shreveport Louisiana.
She spent her childhood exploring the outdoors and climbing the tallest trees in the neighborhood. Carrying this love of nature with her into adulthood, Pat often went on walks around the neighborhood, Biking on trails, and tending to her thriving flower garden. She loved animals of all kinds, but horses, and wolves were her favorite. She would often dream of living on a farm taking care of horses and chickens. Patricia moved to the city of Galveston where she met her husband of 32 years, together they had one daughter. Patricia retired from Galveston County the year of 2020.
She is survived by her Father Louis Butler, her husband Robert Salinas, her daughter Casey Salinas, her cherished pet dog Levi, and many family and friends. We all hold many dear memories of Pat and will continue to cherish them for the years to come.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to University of Texas MD Anderson.
