Charlene K. Bennett, 83, of Wapakoneta, died 12:10 a.m., Sat. Dec. 28, 2019, at Wapakoneta Manor. She was born Dec. 25, 1936, in Lakeview, OH, the daughter of Jason & Ollie (Dobie) Taylor, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include,
2 sons, Brian (Janet) Bennett, & Dirk Bennett, both of Wapakoneta,
2 grandchildren, Abigail & Andrew Bennett,
her twin sister, Marlene Cole, Lakeview,
and a brother, Franklin (Linda) Taylor, Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lavera Haggard.

A homemaker, Charlene worked as a home health care provider with Tri-County Visiting Nurses. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, and a 1956 graduate of Blume High School. Her other memberships included the St. Johns Grange #2520, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing puzzles, word search games and loved pets, especially her dogs.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Fri. Jan. 3, 2020, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory,
St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Jaired Birks officiating. The family will receive family and friends 1-3 p.m., Fri. Jan. 3, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize Co. Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeancrematroy
