She was employed as a Nurse for 36 years, starting at Parkway General, which is presently known as Jackson North Hospital in North Miami Beach, Florida. During her employment, she was recognized by the Chief of Medicine and promoted to the Pharmacy Department. Some years later, Dr. Murray was promoted to Head Nurse at Miami Heart Institute in Miami Beach, Florida.
She loved to Preach to the sick and the shut in and was heavily involved in community service by taking bread and baked goods to those in need. Her heart was in singing, she sang solos, sang in choirs and duets. She was also a recording artist. She joined the Soul Saving Station located in Opa-Locka, Florida in 1971 until she retired in 2014, because of failing health.
She was married to Earnest Murray. She was preceded in death by 4 sons, Willie Prince Jr, Lester Prince, Ervin Prince and John Wesley Prince, 6 sisters, Ada Mann, Georgia Lee Ragans, Mary Alice Ragans, Ellen Pringle, Ludy Monts and Florence James and 2 brothers, Amos Ragans and Clifford Ragans Jr.

1 Sister-In-Law: Cynthia Murray.
2 Brothers-In-Law: Tom Murray and James Trimble Sr.

Graveside services were held Monday July 19, 2021 at 1PM in the Eastview Cemetery in Americus, Georgia.
